Co-Ed Weekend Retreat from Friday evening, January 8th, starting with Dinner at 7pm, until Sunday, January, 10th, ending at around 4pm, after Lunch.
TITLE: "Our Spiritual Resources: New Year's Retreat"
PLACE: Finca "El Despertar," Arucas, Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain)
INSTRUCTORS: Jose Francisco Martinez (scroll down, alphabetically) and Arnie J Vargas.
COST: 150 € (EUR) per person or $250 USD (includes dinner on Friday, lodging for 2 nights, all meals on Saturday, Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday, all retreat fees).
DESCRIPTION: Based on the teachings of Ascended Masters and Mystics, this retreat brings us together as a community of seekers to welcome the new year with hope and optimism. Our Spiritual Resources exist already within each of us. We can all achieve and exercise dominion over our lives with the right understanding and practices. We will explore the tools to live in harmony with self and others. Don't miss this great event! Come and share this weekend with all of us! Start the new year with new hopes and optimism.
No previous studies or knowledge is required in order to attend. During the weekend, we will practice the key element necessary to manifest our good: Meditation. As an aid to the practice of Meditation, we will utilize Sacred Chants, Hatha Yoga, Movement, and the Practice of Silence. For those who have never meditated this is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to meditate. Meditation is the great tool that allows us to attain self-knowledge and inner peace.
We hope to have you among us for this great event which closes the year 2009 and welcomes 2010 with hope and renewal!
