Arnulfo (Arnie) J. Vargas, LCSW is a Holistic Psychotherapist with almost 20 years of experience working with diverse populations (most psychiatric diagnoses, men and women of all backgrounds, children, adolescents, couples, families, and groups). He incorporates Eastern and Western spiritual principles, shamanistic techniques, and traditional psychoanalytic theories in his healing work with clients.

 

Arnie is deeply grateful for the guidance he has and continues to receive, from the following beings of light:

Since 1996, Arnie has been a devotee of Swami Chidvilasananda, affectionately known as Gurumayi. Meeting his guru, began a transformation in Arnie's life that cannot be described as less than amazing. Through her teachings and example, he realized that what we call GOD, is not a being outside oneself, but rather the SELF, as expressed individually in everyone and everything. Gurumayi is the present Teacher of the Siddha Lineage, the Siddha Yoga® path. 

 

In addition, Arnie's mentor, Michael S. Isaacs, introduced Arnie to the teachings of Joel S. Goldsmith.  Arnie is forever grateful to Michael for his continued guidance and wisdom.

 

Arnie also wants to honor Ken Lazdowski, who is a teacher of The Infinite Way -- Joel Goldsmith's teachings. Ken has also been, and continues to be, a pillar of spiritual support in Arnie's life.

 

Arnie honors all his teachers in his teaching lectures and classes with deep reverence, love, and respect.

 

Finally, Arnie wants to thank all his clients whom he also considers his teachers. Through them, he continues to learn how resourceful the human spirit is. Human survival against all odds, proves more than anything, that we are the Divine embodied.

Arnie maintains a private Healing Practice both in Manhattan, NYC, and Cape May, New Jersey.

He leads retreats on various psychological and spiritual subjects within the US, along with excursions abroad.

Arnie is an adjunct faculty member at The Silver (formerly Shirley M. Ehrenkranz) School of Social Work - New York University.

He is also a part-time Bilingual Psychotherapist at a not-for-profit in New Jersey.
