in the forests of her native Austria-Hungary. Those days spent in her grandmother’s warm kitchen,

Maria Jose Terol's passion for classical dance manifested itself since she was a child and this passion evolved with the passing of years towards all forms of physical exercise.  The thirst for self-improvement, the need to discover new methods that she could adopt to her age and evolving personal circumstances, and towards the needs of her students, lead her to experimenting with
different methods, and eventually to the unfolding of what she calls with pride today: "The Terol Method of Bodily Re-education and Postural Correction." At present, Maria Jose works throughout Spain, on the formation of teachers and professionals using her discipline, in the world of health. She also teaches courses and offers lectures on how to keep one's body healthy and beautiful, stemming from proper posture under the guidelines of the method she herself created.

Sonia Terol was born in Madrid in the bosom of a family of artists.  Since infancy, she expressed her interest for the arts and at age 5, she started taking dance classes with her mother, a teacher and professional ballerina, which she later continued with Victor Ullate.  She started her Journalism studies at the Francisco de Victoria University, but her passion for the stage and the arts were stronger than her call for Journalism, therefore, at age 20, she entered The Madrid School of Singing in order to immerse herself totally and professionally to singing and acting.  Since 2006 she has been combining music with her teaching in the world of physical therapy, using The Terol Method, developed by her mother.
